Regarding GIC

Friends i funded cad 10100 on 28th october monday , till when should i be expecting gic cert

I think it shouldn't take more than a week. or 5-7 business days.

do i have to mail them my wire transfer receipt ?

yes !! mail them transaction swift receipt and ask them to send your certificate

It is better to wait 4-5 business days atleast before u send them the recpt as it gives them some room to process your payments..
no point bothering them without need as it results in further delays I have seen..

after 4-5 business days just send one mail from ur scotia account attaching your recpt and quoting ur account number n details..

I did just that and got my GIC in the mail the next day..


In fact, i waited 8 working days before sendig recpt..
