in proof of funds I have shown some FD that got my name and my father name on same FD. Can CHC object on it. Because the fund is mine but I have added my parents on it so that its more easier to renew my FD , is it a problem. please help

This is not ok

Funds should be either in your name or your spouse/common law partner if she is part of your application.

If funds are in shared account/FD with your father it will not be considered as your funds. You will need to break this FD and remake a new FD in your name.

problem here is I already send these FD's to visa office. Can I break FD now and put my own name in it, is it a problem.

It should not be a problem. They should come back to you telling that these are insufficient funds or may be asking for POF again

Now the decision that you need to make is that should you wait from their communication or do it on your own. I would think I would do it now but you may want to start a new thread and seek other senios opinion as well

Get the FD's made in your name I know you will loose some interest but get them made in your name and before getting them cancelled get a photocopy of them and once you get the new FD's send them to CHC with a letter explaining why you did that. Ok CHC New Delhi, has instructed that they will not accept proof of funds in joint name except from applicants and co applicants.
