Regarding first and last name

My friend is applying for PNP ontario, there is a issue with his name. In his passport, work permit and most of his official documents his name is 'Rajat' no last name. But in his scotia bank account here, his name is Rajat Singh. And in his pay stubs also name is rajat singh. now he has to attach his bank statements with PNP file. Please help him out what should he do now.
