Dear All/Seniors,

After a lot of struggle (started in May), today I received by experience letter from the HR of my previous employer. They have mentioned only the following information.

This is to certify that Mr. AAA was full time employed with YYY Consultancy Services Limited from July 28, XXXX to October 27, XXXX.

While leaving our organization, he was designated as a Systems Engineer.

During his employment with YYY Consultancy Services Limited, he was responsible for the following:-
task1
task2
task3
task4
task5

(Please note: Skills and responsibilities specified are as declared by the employee and approved by the last supervisor. This information is to the best of our knowledge and without prejudice).

We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.

For YYY Consultancy Services Limited.

ZZZZZ
Deputy Head - Human Resources

Company's address, website, phone number and fax number

Things covered in the letter
- Employee number
- Designation while I resigned from the company
- Full-time employee
- Task and duties performed
- Signature of the deputy head of HR department and his name and designation below
- In company's letterhead
- With company's address, email address, website, phone number and fax number

What should I do now for the below things which are not mentioned in the letter?
- All my designations and their time periods are missing (Paystubs has my designation)

You will need to write a Letter of Explanation and provide alternative supporting documentation. If CIC wants to verify with your company, they can.

- All my designations and their time periods are missing (Paystubs has my designation)

This is difficult, because your letter only includes one set of job duties/responsibilities. If you held different positions within the company, you need a list of job duties and responsibilities for each position. If the duties are reported for your last position of Systems Engineer, you might consider only claiming the time you were in that position, because it is the only thing you have proof for.

If your previous position had essentially the same duties/responsibilities and your designation was similar or in the same NOC, then maybe you can include it too.)

- Salary and benefits are missing (I have 3 years paystubs copies, offer letter, salary increment letter, service certificate with salary on it)

That is good, include all that with your Letter of Explanation. I don't know what a "service certificate" is, but if it includes your salary information, you might be able skip sending all those paystubs (but it's good that you have them).

- Mentioned only full-time( permanent is missing); Number of hours per week is missing

Permanent is not required, but hours worked per week is. Do your paystubs show your hours worked?

- Deputy head of HR department contact number and email are not mentioned.[/b][/color]

As long as the company contact information is provided, it is OK.

Dear JES_ON,

Thanks a lot for your answers. Regarding my designations,

1) Assistant Systems Engineer-Trainee
2) Assistant Systems Engineer
3) Systems Engineer

All the three designations fall under the same NOC code.

My paystubs have only number of days worked (mostly 28, 30,31) not hours.

Hi JES_ON,

I requested several times to my HR, I couldn't add these following details in the letter
- Number of hours
- Salary benefits
- All designations during my tenure

I received following reply from my HR. The experience certificate provided to you, is an authorized standard XXXXX format which works well for various purposes. XXXXX does not authorize any alternate format to be provided for this purpose.

I am planning to get a letter from my project manager.

- Should that letter from my project manager need to be notarized?
- Can I include the above-highlighted statement from HR in the LOE section?
- I am planning to attach the letter from my company HR which is in letterhead (with 3 details missing) along with the letter from my project manager. Is it good to attach both the letter or only the letter from my project manager?

If you have that in writing, you need to submit that along with a letter of explanation for the missing information.

No, not necessary

You should include the correspondence from HR.

Both letters, along with your LOE and proof of your company's refusal to provide more details, and any supporting documents you may have (pay stubs, tax documents). The letter from your project manager should include his/her contact details in case IRCC wants to verify with them.

Dear JES_ON,

Yeah, I have the written email from my HR as follows "The experience certificate provided to you, is an authorized standard XXXXX format which works well for various purposes. XXXXX does not authorize any alternate format to be provided for this purpose.".

My supervisor accepted to provide the missing details, he asked me to send an email with the missing details and he will reply to that email approving following details

-> number of hours/weeks
-> All my designations in the company
-> Salary

he asked me to use the email instead of providing it in letter.

Will this email be given equal weightage as the letter or not?

If you provide the email to accompany the official letter, it should be accepted. It will be fine.

You must realize that I have never submitted this version of the application, I applied a long time ago. It looks like you have everything, but I don't know enough about your personal situation to be able to determine that.

Thanks, JES_ON.

Have you come across the following scenario

In the passport, my first name is "AAAA" Last name/father name is "BBBB"

My father has changed his name (from BBBB to CCCC) and he has the document from gazette office for the name change and his passport also has both his name. My current passport document has my father's old name ("BBBB"). So all my PR application documents like (Passport, Masters degree, bachelors degree, IELTS, Experience letter, have my father's old name ("BBBB").

All my documents contain my father's old name, If I mention my father's old name as per my current passport in the family section, By any chance will it be treated as "MISREPRESENTATION"?
- Do I need to mention the latest name ("CCCC") of my father in the application or not?
- Do I need to attach any document for this name change of my father or not required?

I'm not very sure about this but I think you should mention the new name and submit an affidavit to show the name change. Since the name has already changed, the current name should be used rather than the previous name. I would suggest senior members like Leon, jes_ON, Scylla, qorax please comment on this?

It would be a very good idea to include a letter of explanation about your father's name change, and any legal document for the name change that shows both names (not sure if the "document from gazette office" is considered a legal document). Use his current legal name on your application forms. If he can provide any documents (e.g. passport passport with old name, passport with new name) that show both old and new name, that would be good too.
