Hi, your help will be greatly appreciated.

My case is explained below:
I submitted a joint (me as the primary applicant and my spouse as my dependent) Express Entry profile on the 11th of June 2018. But my CRS Scores are too low.

So I kept that Express Entry profile as it is and created a new Express Entry Profile today the 13th of June 2018 without keeping my spouse as dependent. At the time of filing the EE Profile, there is a section asking the details " Immigration History and Citizenships" , in that section what am I suppose to answer for:
1. Has DANCHO KAYANIYIL JOSEPH applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before? (required)
yes or no???
If the answer is Yes , the following questions are asked???
1. Has DANCHO KAYANIYIL JOSEPH applied for Express Entry before? (required)
2. Please provide the Express Entry file number (required)

My doubt is - do I need to give an yes for this???
Or should I give no and proceed as a new applicant??

How will this affect my profile?

Your answers and guidance on this will be greatly appreciated.

I am hoping by saying, "without keeping my spouse as dependant", you mean "non-accompanying spouse". If you are not mentioning the dependant at all, then it is misrepresentation. Generally, it is not okay to create two separate EE profiles. I would suggest you to withdraw the one that gives low CRS score. Then for the above question, the answer will be 'No'.
But there are people who has created two profiles, if you want to go that way, the answer is still 'No'. This question asks whether you have submitted a PR application, submitting the EE profile is not the same.

thank you for your kind and informative response.
Also I would like to clarify your doubt that I meant Non-Accompanying Spouse.
