Hi all,
I'm Shabeeb. I'm planning to do my graduation or graduation diploma in canada. My main problem is I have completed my 10th(i.e., S.S.C from india) in 2011 with 70% aggregate and then I have joined polytechnic and due to some family problems i couldn't complete my polytechnic and left it. After 4 years when everything was good i joined for my 12th(in India again) in 2015. Now I have succesfully completed my 12th in 2017 with 65% aggregate and planned for canada for higher studies. I spoke with different colleges in canada and they are ready to give admission. But the problem which is messing with my head is do my visa gets approved or rejected for 4 years education gap? I'm a good student and how should I prove them that I'm still good in education after 4 years. Thanks in advance. Waiting for response.

Hello Dear,

Study gap only count after your last pass out education, here you said you passed the 12th in 2017 this means you do not have any study gap. Even more, I pass out my MBA in 2011 and since then I was working professionally and applied student visa on this 30 Aug, see the god grace I secured my visa in just 20 days (20th Sep). so ultimately there is no study gap kind of system in Canada. it only depends on how you prove your self as an authentic student and your future study is linking to your pass education. your goal should be clear in SOP.

If you can able to convenience visa officer through SOP you will not come across with any trouble or rejection.

You need to prepare a SOP explaining all this, and did it take you 2 years to clear your HSC exam. Also your IELTS result should be very good to prove your claim of being a genuine student. Selection of University over college will give you more chances of securing a study visa

First of all you should apply visa in University category which takes time but chances of visa are far more than college. Secondly you should explain the circumstances why there was a gap in your ssc and hsc, also why did it took 2 years to complete your hsc. Regarding after BE, your work experience is not counted as gap if you attach salary slips along with your application.
