Regarding delay due to biometric collection

Hi.

So i got the letter regarding biometric enrollment. The time given is 90 days to complete it.

The center where I am supposed to get it done has dates booked till the first week of December. The high commission did not give any green signal to open newer dates.

I has submitted my visa application a week ago. Estimates time for then to reach a decision is 4 weeks, not including time taken for biometric enrollment.

My question is, since i am getting delayed due to the biometrics, will the VO hold my application till they have the biometrics? Or will they continue with the assessment of the submitred visa docs? Will I be given an answer regarding my application even without biometrics? Note that I am not expecting a visa without biometrics, but a letter stating whether i have been accepted or rejected.

Or is it that they will start my document assessment after getting the biometrics?

There's no such provision as of now. They are however communicating refusals without the biometrics as well and they assured this in their webinars. But no updates to other applications without biometrics so far.

Thanks. Meaning even without biometrics, they will let me know if I have been rejected. But they wont let me know if I have been accepted. Did I understand what you meant?

Yes, that is correct. But not getting a refusal is not a 100% guarantee for success as they might reject an application at any time in the future.
