Hi Experts,

Can you guide me on how did you upload Singapore COC in myCIC? I have few questions:

1. CIC requested for PCC of myself and my wife but there is option of only one document to be uploaded. Should I combine both and write a LOE?
2. Document Number field does not accept numbers but COC contains numbers, so how to input?
3. Issue Date if COC is in January 2016, but year 2016 itself is not present in drop down menu
4. What expiry date to be mentioned for COC, it is not mentioned on the certificate

Best Regards

Hi,

Hope this was sorted out.
I had a few questions on the same and would appreciate your inputs, pls:
1.Is there a standard finger-print form for the SG-CoC request (similar to the one from FBI?)
2. What would be the quickest and easiest way for a non-citizen to make the SG-CoC payment?

Thanks,
RP

Hi

Actually, I stay in Singapore and submitted the fingerprints at the SPF office itself.

1. There is no standard fingerprint form available on SPF website.

Fingerprint Impressions
Walk-in applicants' fingerprint impressions will be taken at the COC;
Applicants by post shall submit a set of their 10 fingerprint impressions* taken by a qualified fingerprint officer from a police establishment or an authorised office at their country of residence.
* A set of 10 fingerprint impressions refers to impressions of right and left thumbs, and 4 fingers of the right and left hands.

http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm

2. Payments method:

Payment can be made by cash, NETS and credit cards (VISA/MASTERCARD), bank draft or personal cheque at the COC counter. Only bank drafts and personal cheque denominated in Singapore Dollars will be accepted.

For applications by post, payment can be made with a bank draft made payable to 'Head Criminal Records CID' through a financial institution with a subsidiary bank based in Singapore for clearance.

Since I paid directly at SPF office, I used NETS to make payment.

Hope this helps.

Hi arora23,

I uploaded my COC in late jan this year. hope my info helps.

1. yes definitely, combine two of you together and save as one pdf. I don't think LOE is required but no harm if you want to write one.
2. in my case there were only numbers allowed, so i just skipped the alphabets and symbols.
3. i checked with the CIC IT maintenance, they allow us to put the latest date available which is 31/12/2015, and again, no harm writing a LOE.
4. though it's not mentioned, it's required by CIC that police cert would go automatically expired in 6 months. thus you can write 6 months after the date of issue right away.
