hi,

i read from another thread that for foreign trained dentists, if they pass all NDEB exams in the first attempt itself, it will take 4 years to get license.

so what are the other options? in a real time scenario, lets assume someone doesn't pass in first attempt and eventually gets licensed in 7 or 8 years. how should we plan for this? any suggestions or experiences?

i was thinking of enrolling a 2 year course after landing, fetch a job (not survival job, a proper one, just that its not a dentist post) and live life as normal. meanwhile, prepare and attend the NDEB exams parallely. this way, i hope it won't affect the person and the family.

what are your thoughts on this? any other perspectives? if we can proceed with this idea, what are the suitable courses and career options for a dentist? please share your views.

It wont take you 4 years to finish the exams its not true and there is the possibility of taking the afk exam and then try to get admission to college for 2 years
