Hi ,

I need some assistance regarding applying for Canada residency. These are my following details.
I am a citizen from India.
I have completed my Bachelors in computer science engineering from India.
Have done my Masters in computer science in U.S.A
Currently, my immigration status is H1-B in United States.
Working for an IT firm.
I have the following questions regarding applying for Canada immigration status.

Am I eligible to apply for Canada permanent residency?
What is the procedure for me to apply for Canada residency?
I would appreciate any details regarding the above concerned matter.

To answer your question:-
Option 1: Only IT Managers can apply for Federal Skilled workers categories. If u are IT manager, you are good to go. Apply for FSW immigration.
Option 2: Look for a job in some Canadian province, get nomination letter from that province. It is difficult option, but people do this.

The difficult part is getting a job offer when you are not in Canada to do interviews and you have to tell your prospective employer that if they want to hire you, they first need to apply for a document from Service Canada to verify the job offer and then wait for several months to over a year for you to use the job offer to immigrate after which there is no guarantee that you will actually come to work for them.
