Hi I am new to this, but my question is,,, two months ago my husband was refused his visa to canada because the immigration office stated that it is not a bonified relationship, just papers basically, she decided this after a 10 min interview, anyway, i recieved the letter and i appealed this,, today i recieved a letter about a hearing and then that is when it is decided if i can appeal, does anyone have any experience with this the procedures , timelines, what i should prepare, if i should get a lawyer etc. i am totally lost in all this,, its been over a year that we have seen each other, and we are both getting very frustrated that it is taking so long ,, thank you

I havent been in your position but I have imagined being so, as probably every potential immigrant has. I dread it at times as I wait for the results of my efforts to immigrate. One thing I do know! If I am rejected, we will certainly appeal and I WILL TURN MY CASE OVER TO THE BEST IMMIGRATION LAWYER THAT I CAN FIND. I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO THE SAME.

So sorry....Best Wishes!!

Yes, am appealing a case as well, I saw somewhere that most appeals go though successfully.

Am gathering my papers, I wont go with a lawer, just the grace of God and lots of prayer.

Do u know of you have to pay to appeal

ty all for your comments,,, and goodluck to you,,, i'm not sure if you have to pay for an appeal, but i've already paid everything upfront, when they asked if i want appeal it was either take my money back or appeal,,,

yea, they ask that question it was 75 bucks that would have returned to me. But instead I decide to appeal. good luck with your appeal
