My father got deported in 2010
and his parents and sibling is all canadian citizenship
me (son) is PR in canada.
he applied ARC since he need it.

we sented to phillipine embassy since his in korea.
it been over 3month and we did not get file tracking number or heard anything from the government.
but postal office has confirm that they did receive it.

is this normal?

Yes - this is normal. It can take anywhere from a few months to over a year for an ARC to be processed.
 
My friend submitted ARC requested in July 2018, still no any news yet. It's about 9 months more. Any one can help?
how long will need to wait still? Please share and advise.
