Hi.. I am currently on a student visa in canada, but due to an error of the words printed on my study permit I cannot apply for a SIN number. I was told to submit a case specific enquiry to immigration canada referencing my file number and the information I need. It has been over a week since i sent in the enquiry and have not heard anything back. Has anyone else ever submitted a case specific enquiry? Could you let me know what the details, timelines are and whether I will receive a notification or need to contact someone to follow up?
