Hi,

Need a small clarification!

My spouse's cousin lives in Canada and can sponsor him to be on Visitor visa until I find a job. Is it possible for him to come to Canada by raising sponsorship via his cousin or will it cause any kinds of problems as me being his spouse lives in Canada and not raising spouse based visitor visa?

Also request you to please help me with the amount to be shown in spouse account for visitor visa?

Thanks.

Your spouse's cousin cannot sponsor him for a visitor visa. Your spouse can apply for a visitor visa and his cousin could write a letter of invitation.

However, CIC will wonder why his spouse is not the one inviting him I would assume.

To be successful in obtaining a visitor visa he will need to show sufficient ties to his home country. With a spouse in Canada this is harder to do.

I would suggest sponsoring him through family class yourself and applying for a TRV once you obtain SA.

Hi there,

1) Chances of getting TRV is very less when as his spouse you are residing in Canada.

2) If you are sponsoring your spouse as Canadian PR or citizen, there is no income requirement.

Well I just saw your previous posts and found that you do not fall under spousal sponsorship category.

Your spouse can come to Canada with a student visa if he is accepted in a college or University and have enough funds to study.

I think Hasan read your old posts stating you were in Canada on a work permit. If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you do not qualify to sponsor your spouse for permanent residency in Canada.
