Reg including Canadian born child on application

Hello all,
My friend is filing his application for permanent residency under CEC. His son was born here few months ago. As per my understanding, the child doesn't need to be included on IMM008(generic app form for canada).

Please suggest.

I agree. I included a copy of child's passport in addition to what IMMI_123 mentioned based on a suggestion from others. If passport is not available, a receipt or some kind of proof that passport has been applied for is good enough.

Yes, I support it too, you need to fill in the information in the family details section and provide birth certificate. I did it for my baby!
