Hiya!

Please help me to improve my re-application:

I applied for SP+SOWP in 2020 with PG diploma program from GBC college.
Education: hold Bachelor's in Management (5 yrs, language Russian)
Ielts: 7.0
Location: Dubai
POF: 39.5K CAD
Employment: official employment from UAE company.

I have been rejected based on below GCMS notes:

I have reviewed the application. After considering the applicant's academic and professional background, their financial situation as well as their planned studies and explanation provided to it, i am not satisfied that the applicant is a genuine student who will pursue studies in Canada. The stated benefits of their intended studies do not seem warrant the cost and difficulty of undertaking foreign education. I am therefore not satisfied that the applicant will leave Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. Refused.

I understand that I made such mistakes as:
1) Added a big amount of money (5K USD) in one day which has been reflected in the bank statement;
2) Intended to pursue PG diploma; program while holding 5yrs Bachelors
3) added my spouse to my application;
4) Choose HRM program while working in business administration
5) Applied not from my home country

Soon I am about to reapply most probably with MBA program from UCW university from where I received scholarship in amount of 10K CAD. Total tuition fee of this program is 40K CAD.
I have taken GMAT in 2020 (510), will have POF of about 45K CAD. Won't add my spouse to my application but thinking about to add my toddler son. I will also show my property worth 70K USD. Additionally l am officially employed in my home country.

Am I improving my application in the right direction? What else can you advise?

Thank you for your time!

Buddy your case will reject sorry but look at your profile. Why don't you apply for Immigration and look at some provinces if you cant make 450+ CRS Score.

Canada is not a well paying country and looking at your profile you are not a genuine student since you are quite well off with a settled family + Job they are doing you a favor by not providing you a Visa.

Pick a public DLI for a MBA not UCW, a private university that no one in Canada has heard of. UCW gives scholarships to everyone and so everyone gets accepted. Property isn’t liquid funds. If adding toddler then show that you have funds for daycare. Have you even looked at care for your toddler? Waiting lists are long and most daycare is only available 7-6 Monday to Friday.

@Naturgrl hi!
Yes, I have asked uni based daycare in Thunder Bay (you advised to clarify this in a previous thread), it said that there is a priority for Lakehead students' kids. Daycare enrollment for sep 23 will be opened in jun 23 and the daycare asked to place a request for waiting list and remind about myself once again in jun 23. Tho I have received the offer, MBA from LU is too expensive, I am not able to proceed with it.
I am currently waiting for the admissions from 3 other unis. What if I choose RRU instead of UCW? It has also a so-so reputation but at least not a private one.

RRU is better than UCW. Again you will need to look at daycare and show that you can afford the day care costs on top of living expenses and tuition.

@Naturgrl

I have just submitted my application from Dubai online because I have been residing here for 4 years and working with a 6-year gap. I have applied SP+SOWP+Kid visit visa (11 months old) I have been accepted at UCW for an MBA programme 2 years total fee was 39,400/-i have paid a 7900 deposit rest I have shown in the bank as proof of funds CAD54K in me and my husband and account. I was wondering if you had any idea how long this type of submission typically took.

after reading through this I am now getting more afraid of whether my application will be accepted or rejected. what do you think about my application chances of getting rejected?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Ulfat

No idea. Will be at least 9 weeks. May be processed separately. That is not a lot of funds for 3 people if you add living expenses and daycare expenses. Daycare expenses alone may cost between $10-$20k depending on the provider. Assume you have looked into that.

Don’t know your profile but UCW is not highly regarded, easy to get into and just for international students.

Hmm, Let's see m hoping for a positive response.

Also, if you don't mind could you please guide me on the below

As I received the biometric letter. However, I am unsure of the medical examination requirement. Will I receive a letter from the IRCC that is similar to the biometric letter, or will I have to complete it on my own now?

Please guide me.

Thanks
