:( sad news got my refusal yesterday and my friend... reason was u were not able to demonstrate that you adequately meet the job requirements of your prospective employer...

the thing is my employer gave me the position of FCSupervisor, though currently working as supervisor but not in the same field this was the reason i guess that i got refused, and i had no experience in food industry, is there anyone who knows that if in case my employer would give me another LMO for Food counter attendant, would there be any problem from the consulate? because my employer gave me another contract yesterday for FCA and says that LMO will follow shortly. Experts kindly give me advice as to what I should do with the matter. Thanks a lot ...

I have the same situation with you. I had applied for Food Counter Attendant but I worked as a Supply Clerk. I believe that God could do miracles and I am hoping that I could get the visa and work permit. I will still keep on praying...

hi angel,

I cannot answer you since its my first time to apply. Meron isang forum below about sa lahat na mga na refuse. You can get any idea bakit na refuse ang iba. You can ask question also. I hope we could get positive reply. Lets just pray..

may i contribute...

based on junely_ivan (find the author of this series of thread), unemployed in the event of applying work permit, the chances of deny is too high.

in the event of employed and yet not consistent to the job applied is also becomes a basis of denial. The experienced job must somehow show inkling or related to the job applied in Canada. we were a group recruited; 13 pax in the p.i. and 2 in dubai as retail associate. only 7 in p.i. and 2 dubais. the vo closedly monitor the job experiences submitted to justify the job applied. all the passers justify the job experience vs. job applied.

the vo scrutinize the vital requirements before they consider applicant to pass or issue wp. sorry to say this but CEM is very keen finding fake and mis representation due to everybody wants to go canada by hook or by crook.

nothing is impossible to God; thy will be done and a prayer without ceasing will reach God.

erratum - 7 in p.i. and 2 in dubai passed or got wp....

what henz suggested is good enough to get some ideas of how each and everyone got their slice of cake as denial...

Let's face reality here. Unless you will be working in food service industry and can have at least 6 months in there, maybe you can reapply under FCA position.. But for the meantime, sorry to disappoint you but you might get another rejection since nothing in your past work experience can satisfy the job requirement of FCA.

Hi there.. In the first place I submitted my resume to the employer. Why would they gave me a contract and LMO? So these means they had reviewed my resume about my past jobs and this is related for their job requirement. BTW I serve as standard control inspector for 9 years in Del Monte Philippines before I transfer her in Qatar as Supply Specialist. I guess my past work is related to FCA(standard control inspector). All these things I handed to God now and I know he can do miracles..

Hi HENZ,
Sure we can hope but from other's first hand experience of rejection, I am basing my opinion. I am referring to hcantos by the way since he had the application result on hand. I can't tell about anybody's situation/fate without the VO's decision yet. What I mean is if he want to reapply he has to satisfy the reason of his first rejection and that is about job experience.
Relatively, some employers even hire foreign professionals under Food Counter Attendant since this position can be learned and performed by any able and mature foreign professional but still the VO has the last say.

Hi,

FCA is not a skilled work, based on NOC Matrix the minimum requirements are: Some secondary school education is usually required, and On-the-job training is provided. So basically as long as you're high school graduate and/or undergrad/graduate in college (some units in college should have equivalent to High School Canadian Education) you are good to go. Those are the basic requirements to get positive LMO under FCA. Compared to Skilled Work it usually requires certificates (proven that you do the same job or equivalent), management training experience and several years of experience in the same job/field or equivalent.

You're visa applications approval is really depends on the discretion of the Visa Officer who assess your applications and how solid your documentations presented to them :)

while it's true that minimum requirement is some secondary high school or sometimes no education needed is being posted by the fca employer. the usual next step of TFW is provincial nomination that has enumerated requirements. education attainment is one of them as described by the cic as:

Nominee applicants must demonstrate that they have completed a minimum of 12 years of formal education either within or outside of Canada. This can be demonstrated by submitting copies of any of the following in English: diplomas, certificates, degrees, transcripts. In addition, any regulatory and/or licensing requirements specific to the occupation must be met.

unless not interested for PNP, it will just be a 4 years collective working in canada then 4 years rest out of work in canada. from resting period served then one can apply again to work in canada.

anybody who can shed experience from tfw to permanent resident with an educational attaintment of less than minimum of 12 years of formal education either within or outside of Canada?

your living and actual testimony defying what was describe and prescribed will put light on the tunnel producing more rays of hope.

Hi! I submitted my application last June pa and I'm also done with my medical...waiting for visa nalang din po. I applied as a Food and Beverage Server and same with your situation I also don't have any experiences regarding the said job kasi I worked as a call center agent and as an English Instructor sa mga Koreans . 10 months na rin akong walang work kasi I have to resign para mabantayan yung son ko. Then graduate ako ng nursing...Kung titignan walang connect dun sa work na inapplyan ko pero written on the contract from my employer, no formal education needed as well as no experience required. So sana, matapat sa mabait and considerate na VO yung paper ko para maging positive yung result ng application ko.

Let's just pray. Wala naman imposible kay Lord, if it's for us, ibibigay nya pero if not there's always a reason why...Kaya think positive lang tayo lage, Have faith na magiging okay ang lahat.

God bless us! :)

Hi out,

You can apply for provincial nominees however PNP nomination vary among the provinces. You might start reading this link:
