gap in study, low bnd score,n i will not leave canada by the end of period authorised for my stay.

Hello. Hmm below are my own thoughts:

Gap - wow it's just 1 year's gap dude. It should not have led to refusal. what you told them you were doing from 2013-2014?

IELTS - 5.5 in speaking. Hmmmm, maybe as your course is biotechnology, which is quite rigorous I believe, they thought you might have trouble talking with your peers in English. But I don't want to label this as your main reason.

Over-staying - Did you write a good SOP? What did you tell them about your future plans?

you made a mistake you need to buy scotia investment account and you dont have to show bank balance and ielts scores are low, you need to improve your score lets say min overall 6.5 with no 5 or 5.5 in any module plus also you have to explain your one year gap
