I am amanpreet singh applied for jan intake(spp) . my ilets score is 6 overall 6.5 R, 6.5 L , 6 S, 5.5 W. i done my +2 arts in 2008 , after that i worked in a restruent of my brother till july 2010. i choose george brown college and hospitality,tourism and leisure post secondary diploma. my loan amount is 10lac against fd . i pay full fees of first year . i show savings of 2 lac and gpf of 6 lac. my application got rejection and the reason is my proposed study is not relavent with my previous background study and work experience. bt being a arts student i only apply for hospitality or business management although i hav a work exp. in hospitality field then how my proposed studies are not relavent with previous, i want to apply for may batch please tell me for which course i should go for..????

,,,bad, man, anyway often these officers makes dum decisions, they should not force students to choose courses, what they want.
the reason u telling, is common,when you asking addmission in differant directions, go ask for graphic designer, or other art courses, once you get inside canada, just change it,,, become eligible for PR, then citizen, never go back,,,,,bally bally

Sorry about your initial rejection. I don't know if you prepared a Statement of Purpose letter or not, but you could use that to describe HOW this new course relates to your previous studies and work experience. I don't know exactly what you took in your degree, but Arts degrees are usually pretty general....perhaps now that you have worked in the hospitality industry, you want to further your education specifically in that direction.
