Actually I got selected for Shangri la Hotel last year, but the pandemic also started, so didn't recieved my appointment letter. I will make a strong SOP, I have joined my family business to help my brother, because of my Father's health condition. But my dream is to work in a International chain hotel and get experience from around the globe. Also start a resort in future. If it make refusal again? If i am working for a family business, because after this pandemic many hoteliers lost their jobs. But I knw Hospitality will bloom soon. Please kindly reply to my first question "Based on your current employment situation)

You work for the family business that is your current job, so in the officer’s opinion you don’t need to come to Canada and spend tens of thousands of dollars on a Canadian education. How will your current job build the family business and make more money and pay off your education. Most people in family business learn from within and on the job, and don’t need to leave the country for an education.

Yes but I don't get any international experience from my family business, also to move to management level I don't have any experience and theorotical knowledge. Opening a resort in future will not be a easy task. Because we will invest huge amount of money on that project. So tackle with other competitors, I should get good enough duration qualification for management level and hands on experience from a International environment.

So you can’t move to management level within your family business? Why do you need theoretical knowledge and experience isn’t gained by going to school in Canada? You need to explain why only this program and not one in your country based will give you an edge. Hope it is a good Canadian university.

Yes because my family business is situated in a small town. Not in a city. Also here in my home country only very few colleges providing POST GRADUATE course in Hospitality. Duration like 6 months. I don't think that I can gain knowledge by following a course like that. I have checked, in Canada also only 2 schools providing Post Graduate DIPLOMA in Hospitality management. One is Vancouver Island University. Another one is Selkirk College. BC, So I have applied to Selkirk college. Because their fees is affordable, where I have to pay 14000 CAD per year. In my country Best Universities are belongs to goverment, to get select to those Uni, students should get Good score on A/L out of 10 only 2 students use to get that chance. So not everyone can go to those Uni's.

I thought you were doing a degree from your posts and not a PG. So you have a degree already? And now you are applying to Selkirk in a remote part of BC, an 8 hour drive from Vancouver. The only college with such a program? Every Ontario college in the province probably offers that program. Anyways, I hope you are accepted the third time.

Hi, applied for trv and written authorization for extended family (partner/girlfrd). Phac was approved but trv was rejected and no update about written authorization. Any reason for no update about written authorization? Applied through an agent. Thank you @Naturgrl @scylla
Hey. They have mentioned somewhere on the website, that if you raise a written authorisation with a TRV application pending, they will decide on your TRV at the same time as authorisation letter. So, they've responded to your TRV application, which means authorisation letter is no longer required to be given by IRCC.

Can you please elaborate reasons for refusal? Of the TRV?
