I applied for a student visa in Canada and in GCM notes I have the below reason.

-the applicant has failed to satisfy pursuing the selected program of study is reasonable given the high cost of study against the weighted benefit after completion
-Given the applicant's previous education/employment I'm not satisfied with the motivation for a particular course at a time in Canada is reasonable.

I have 4 years of experience in Supply chain management. and I applied for the PGDM in supply chain management at Lambton college.

Anyone, please guide me on what changes I have to make in order to get Visa. I'm also posting key paragraph from my visa SOP below.

After getting my degree, I started working with TBEA Energy (India) Pvt. Ltd., Karjan (the leading Multi-National Company in Power Sector) as an Engineer. At my job, from I have been contributing as an Engineer in the purchase and supply chain management field for more than three years. I have proven myself to be an asset to my organization during these years by demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. I have achieved an on-time materials delivery rate is 94 to 96 % Every Year in order to achieve the production target of 30000 to 32000 MVA with a raw material inventory level of 25 Cr as per company target. I look after many commodities out of that annual Procurement statistics of major commodities are of 5600-5800 MT CRGO, 2200-2500 MT Copper & 7800-8000 KL transformer Oil. I have successfully achieved the target of bringing materials like CRGO, core cheese, copper & copper items, Name plates, Thermometer, Transformer Oil & Other Class B & Class C Consumable item.16 jobs of 80 MVA, 765 kV reactor for PGCIL in one month. As a result, I have helped the organization with its yearly Cost Saving of approximately annual 1 Cr from the Last Two consecutive years by developing the new vendor & implementing different supply chain and logistics arrangements.

I have also won a certificate of appreciation from my organization as an Outstanding Employee Of The Month (December 2019) for my dedication to my work and the positive results I brought in supply chain management.

My work includes teaming up with clients, deploying operational excellence strategies, and making the industry cost-effective. I am truly enjoying my work and can see much potential in the supply chain management aspects in the electrical field. I have indulged in deep discussions with my seniors at work on contributing more effectively and reaching the organizational hierarchy. My discussion and my research taught me that lacking the knowledge of Supply chain management will hinder my future growth. Most influential organizations in India ask for formal education in the supply chain management field, without which I cannot reach the designation of a Supply Chain Manager. Every employee wants to reach the respectable designation where they can participate in the strategic decision-making process, set organizational goals, set targets, implement the same, and get the work done from the team. But without a higher qualification in this particular field, that goal seems unattainable to me. Hence, I have decided to pursue a course in Supply Chain Management so that I can expand my horizon and develop efficient strategies to improvise agile, profitable, and productive systems.

To reach the top of your career, academic qualifications and skills play the most vital role. I haven’t received very positive reviews from the friends and seniors who have studied from Indian institutes related to the management field. The academic institutions fail to impart industry-skills that could develop their innovative skills and critical thinking skills.

The best way to achieve an updated understanding of your subjects is to pursue them from a foreign country. When pursued from a foreign country, learning about supply chain management can add more value to it, which can help me adapt to a global outlook. The main advantage can be the modern field-related working methods it will teach me that will help me bring innovation in work. Formal etiquette, when matched with international standards, can help me grow and run my business exponentially.

Right from the childhood I heard about Canadian education system from my friends and relatives. After detail research and based on experience of my friends I understand that Canada is having high quality education focused basis on your interest and excellent multicultural experiences. Students get best world class educational facilities and infrastructures in Canada. Also, Canada has always welcomed thousands of international talented students for higher studies. Canada has a very practical, skill-oriented system, which has an excellent network of alumni all over the globe. The cost of study is much less as compared to other western countries, which makes for a low tuition fee. Since the Canadian education system is reputed to be one of the best in the world. Keeping all these factors in mind, I made a decision to study in Canada.

To study in Canada, I took an IELTS test and scored 7.5 Bands overall. (Listening: 8.5, Reading: 8.5, Writing: 6, Speaking: 6.5).

Having already been working with the fundamentals of this field, I will connect my learnings with my work experience. I will find answers to the questions and challenges I faced during my experience, which will update my understanding of the field. India is a developing economy and offers excellent growth opportunities to professionals with expertise in their respective fields. Moreover, my work experience has made me well aware of the current industry trends in the supply chain field in my country. Such an advanced degree from a developed country like Canada will instil the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills that would speed up my growth within the ambit of my field in India. Studying in Canada will hone my cross-cultural skills and leadership skills, and I can leverage the advantage of the same to prove my ability. Bringing the supply chain practices followed by the leading organizations from Canada to India will help me reach the expected targets in my future work responsibilities. I aim to associate with the leading electrical companies in my country such as ABB India Ltd., GE Power India Limited, Bajaj Electricals Ltd., Bharat Electronics Ltd., Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Exide Industries Ltd., Finolex Cables Ltd., Havells India Ltd., Polycab India Ltd., etc. as an Associate Supply Chain Manager or an Assistant Supply Chain Manager.

I am married and live in India with my parents, my wife, and my brother. My family means the world to me. Honestly, I want to give them the world. I want to be a support to my parents in their old age and take care of them. It is our mutual decision that I should invest my efforts and time into updating my skills in Canada so that it can help us live a healthy and happy life in India. And hence, I want to establish my career in India only. In fact, Canadian qualification is the key to ensure my professional, financial, and social success in India.

I have submitted our Income tax returns. I have already paid CAD 16,590 college fees of 1st year and 10,000 CAD for the Guaranteed Investment Certificate for my one-year living expenses.

To demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills that can prove me as an innovative and efficient leader and an efficient professional in the supply chain management field within the ambit of the electrical engineering aspects in my country by suggesting tested and proven supply chain practices, I am seeking to attend this coveted program at this formidable academic institution in your country.

This is what I had written in the about the college.

As offered by Lambton College, Supply Chain Management is designed to instill in students the theoretical and practical training of the supply chain field. The captivating program combines subjects such as Logistics, Purchasing, Computer Applications, Network Design and Planning, and Supply Chain Operations Management. These subjects would help me gain in-depth knowledge about new digital models, innovations, and processes involved in Supply chains. Case studies will be a regular part of knowledge sharing, which will help me brainstorm and become an independent learner. Listening to classmates' and expert professors' ideas will develop my mind and make me a creative thinker. The program also includes a mandatory work placement module. Working under the industry leaders in Canada will be an opportunity to "Work, Learn, and Grow" under the expert guidance of professionals, which will further help me succeed in my business endeavours in India.

At Lambton College, I will be able to enhance my knowledge to get exposure to the latest developments in the world, which would help me mould my career significantly. In addition, I would get the advantage of Lambton's business links through which it organizes workshops, seminars, and guest sessions to hone students' managerial and critical thinking skills. Moreover, the college follows practical teaching pedagogy by incorporating workshops, seminars, and guest sessions as regular parts of the curriculum to impart training in students that can equip them to take up challenging roles in their careers. Considering all these points, I have decided to take up my further studies at Lambton College.

The VO is probably indicating that a PG diploma course will not help your already flourishing career in any way. Can you counter this argument in any way? Maybe stress on the need for an academic understanding that would help your work?

1. What is your previous education?

2. Why a PGD and not a Masters if you do not have a Masters already?
