Refund of tuition deposit

Please I need your help on this, I applied to Ontario College of Management and Technology OCMT last year August for a PGD and I was given admission Letter after payment of tuition deposit of $3000 and later that year my Visa was refused in November,2022 and immediately notified the school with the refusal letter by demanding for refund of tuition deposit in December 2022. First I got a response from them that it would take 90 days to process it with a charge of $500 and I agreed and since that time till now they have been shifting the goal post. The last day they promised me was 30th of June 2023. And now they are no more responding to my mails and several calls.
Please what can I do to make them refund this money?

You need to keep contacting the school. Get their refund policy and prove that you were due a refund.

How was I got scammed? The school has DLI Number.

You need to keep contacting the school. Get their refund policy and prove that you were due a refund.

Have done all these, they are not just responding.

So what if it is a DLI. It is a private school with no PGWP, and haven’t responded to your calls. Post their refund policy. If they don’t have one, then you were scammed because they don’t need to refund your money. Call the RCMP and file a report.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Google it - RCMP report fraud. You probably will never see your money, and most likely RCMP is not going to follow up but at least report it.

Report the fraud to IRCC too.
