It’s not working, it’s a program that is seeking for a type of worker which has been under a certain education program which the claimant since being here has been studying under and they’ve successfully become qualified as they’ve started to work in that field of healthcare.

What program exactly? Many of these programs exclude asylum claimants.

I don’t have the name specifically, sorry
Although asylum claimants can work or study with a permit they don’t actually have status they have their removal on hold. It has become more confusing because of the long processing times. Typically no time studying or working while an asylum claimant can count towards other immigration programs. There is typically no easy way to transition from asylum claimants another immigration pathways except family sponsorship.

Well the claimant views this pathway as a better opportunity to atleast give her children freedoms to travel. If this is the case though I do hope to see some good come out of what they’re trying. Thank you again for your time and knowledge.

The issue is that it appears that this isn’t actually an option. Please consult a lawyer. I think your mother is misinterpreting what she is reading.
