as i mentioned before, me and my mom we both received our PRs 2-3 weeks after we sent our photos
You mailed to Hamilton office which probably dealing with less files at hand, I'm referring to those with Etobicoke office.
has anyone changed his/her travel document after receiving the PR? can someone explain me how and where should i start changing my travel document? i checked CIC website i couldn't find anything.and how long does it usually take to change the travel document?
For mailed applications it will take +5 months to get your PR card. I mailed my photos in 1st week of November 2020 and got my card 2nd week of April 2021.

1. Which office do you think is better to submit the documents to? There are two offices.
2. How long do you think it takes nowadays?
3. Can Cousin or Aunt be reference?
4. How to show the urgency of the travel? What documentation they need? Do they need any or I should just explain and give my travel date?
5. My home country passport is expired. There is a question saying "if I have a valid passport or not." If I say no, it requires explanantion. What should I say? It asks "Why I didnt apply for a passport from my home country?"

5. Choose No , write that you didn't and will not renew/apply for a new passport because you're a convention refugee. If the passport was seized when you submitted your claim provide the " Notice of seizure "

For those that have renewed RTD with PR card, what's the appropriate to fill in the column SECTION 3: Proof of Immigration Status in Canada as the Document Number when option PR card is chosen? I have seen different opinion from people stating it is the UCI #,CoPR #, and the Alphanumeric at the back of PR card, so I'm kind of confused a little bit.
I'm inquiring for someone who wants to know if they can apply US visa if they have PR and travel doc. They came through the border from US to get their PR. will US embassy refuse? Thanks.
Hi, please can anyone help with my question. A friend's dad applied for his refugee status and got his residency once was approved he sponsored his children and wife.
I heard the dad cannot return to his home country even after getting residency.
1. Can dad return to his home country?
2. What about the children are they allowed to return to their home country to?

you have to mail your original PR card as well as your current travel document, therefore you need to write down your PR number.
all embassies and consoles are closed, I'm also waiting ay apply.
I can include the photocopy of my PR card and ask the guarantor to sign it that he saw the original, my main question is what is the PR # to write in that Section 3 as the Document Number ? Is it the Alphanumeric stated at the back of PR card or what?
