refugee PR application question:( :( Urgent

Hello all,

I am currently undergoing PR application as protected person. And the ecas shows as below:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 25, 2011.

We started processing your application on September 22, 2011.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

My agent received my request of med late March while I was traveling abroad, I came back to Canada April 25th and had my med done April 30th.

My question is would they continue with other process in the stage 2 or they will have to wait till they get the medical result?

Also I had a discharge back in 2006 was sentenced Sept 2007 will that affect the security check or the criminality check?

to my own question they will keep processing a case if the medical report is not yet available and as it of today all my screening has been completed except medical. and medical usually take up to 3 month to be completed.
