Hi, answer if you can!

Boyfriend was deported. Was told he needed to keep a copy of his certificate of departure. Showing he left Canada. Does not have a copy. Was told he can't return to Canada, without this document. Is this true? Anyone answer this question for me.

Thanks a lot.

Since he was deported, he'll need to apply and be approved for an ARC to return to Canada. More information here:

Can I ask you on what grounds was he refugee application denied? I applied for refugee status and currently waiting for my hearing. I'm planning on leaving voluntarily than getting a deportation order so I can apply for future job contracts.

His case was denied, because they didn't feel he was at risk ( in danger) he's from kosovo. I do feel it depends sometimes on the judge too. Judge he had was previously a immigration lawyer before becoming a judge. Had traveled to Kosovo. So he knew more. Sometimes I think its just pure luck, because two other guys he was with got accepted and are now waiting for there permanent resident status.

Where are you from may I ask?
What is your case in title.

Your choice to leave.
I wish you luck.

I'm from Mexico. I came to Canada on a work permit but I didn't wanted to return to my country because of the wave of violence. I used to live in the States and when i returned to Mexico I almost got kidnapped.
At the interview at the CIC office in Ottawa the officer accepted my claim.

Thanks.
