Finally got it today. Its been scheduled for 8th of march. Any insights what they will ask? Who have recently been to etobicoke office as i hve been scheduled there with my family.

Can you please share your timeline for reference?

My children, wife and me were called by IRCC, interviewed, and issued my work permit. The new IRCC portal system is improving. I felt they are now more organized to serve claimants better than before.
In my Portal, I see now, "You will be provided with a decision shortly. " I'm not sure what does mean as I'm yet to get a date for a hearing.

Hi, I applied for a visitor visa last year in April, now im in Canada and I applied online for Refugee on February 26th (2023)
I see that the biometrics information I did last year for my visitor visa appears in my refugee claim.

I haven’t gotten AOR nor other notice,
But the status of my refugee application says:

Referral decision - February 27, 2023: Your application is in progress.

Do you know what does it mean?
I haven’t gotten AOR,medical exam instructions nor interview to seize my documents.

Hi, it will take some times to get the AOR, it doesn’t mean they haven’t received your application. No worries. Mine took a month.

it’s how portal works. No worries, You will get notification soon. They are working on your BOC form to make sure is completed. Then send you AOR and medical request.

Hi! I got my AOC today and my medical examination instructions.
but I got a question
In the document that says “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CLAIM AND NOTICE TO RETURN FOR INTERVIEW”
It says:
You are required to return for an interview with respect to your refugee claim. The details are as follows:
Date:
Time:
Address:

but the spaces are empty, there is no information on those details.
At the bottom of the page says that if I do not appear in my interview they will determine my claim is abandoned, but there is no information on when to go.

That just to confirm your medical was done… you will get another one in like 1 months time or less. That has actual time and date
