Hi everyone,

I want to sponsor my family of 5 to Canada. My parents along with my siblings who are over 22 year old.
What is the best way to do that other than a group of 5?

What’s your status in Canada? Sibling sponsorship outside of group of 5 is unlikely. Has your family been recognized by UNHCR?

I am a PR holder.
Some of my friends sponsored through community organization and provided the sponsorship amount to them as a gurantee. Is it still possible to do so? Or that program has ended?

It's still possible to do so provided the family member who is going to be the primary applicant has been officially recognized as a refugee by UNHCR. Also, you'll need to have already found an organization that is willing to sponsor them - or sponsor them through Group of 5.

Yes, all five of them have UN refugee documents. Do you have any recommendations of which organizations I could contact in Toronto?

No - I don't. It's next to impossible to find organizations who are still accepting sponsorships. Some people get lucky if they are actively involved in an organization and that organization agrees to help them sponsor their family. If you don't already have an organization that knows you well and is willing to help you, that route probably won't be possible.

Realistically you'll need to go through the Group of Five sponsorship process if you want to bring them here.

Even though they are displaced refugees in a different country?
