Hello,
I have a very urgent question.
We are a young family of three preteen children.Me,my husband and two of three children are refugee claims, the baby was born in Canada.Hearing still waiting. We want to live in Canada permanently.
1)which must be completed in a documents on Permanent Residence?
2)or need to wait for the hearing and then apply?
Thanks,

you have great chances of getting case approval.as long as u have good story and good.lawyer.u will be fine.

Hi!
I'm currently a refugee claimant, too!
I sent my app for Quebec skilled worker December 2012, they rejected it saying I wasnt admitted in QC legally!
I arrived by legal visitor's visa. I stayed here legally all the time!
Also I have enough point for QUEBEC SKILLED WORKER- a bachelor degree from the list of training, language tests, local work experience and even property in Quebec!
My lawyer said they rejected my file coz of refugee claimant status. And that it's new rules, before everyone applied at the same time and it was fine.

So,pls, if you have similiar situation and just applied or going to, share your experience!!!

Did you have a CAQ(acceptance certificate) before entering Quebec?
Did you have a CSQ(selection certificate) before applying to the QSW program?

If your answer is 'No' to either or both, that could also be a reason.

I didn't need for my work permit. One just applies for work permit based on refugee claim.
So now I applied for selection certificate for Quebec- that's what I called Quebec skilled worker program.
I didn't need any certificates to enter Quebec, I came as a visitor to Quebec!
