I heard that in corona time it takes 27 months for case to be passed
Define cases have passed. To get PR, reunite with family in Canada, get hearing to determine if you are granted asylum, etc? Processing times were actually longer precovid.
Hi Shumaila, hope everything is good with you, can you please update on your procedure of asylum, did you request asylum at port of entry and what exactly it took to get out from the airport?? are passports with you?

you can claim at airport or you can apply for refugee later like few days after
But if you face danger in home country, it doesn't matter how long you need to wait.
You can't go back there and it's safe in Canada. (whole point of refugee claim)
