This information is not correct. If the refugee claim is denied. Any visa on the passport will be cancelled. Have seen this happened to many people
Utter bullsh*t. Nobody has the authority to cancel a visa issued by a sovereign country except for the country itself. Only exception is if that country has signed a treaty to share information e.g. USA.

That would depend on how you felt the lawyer did. And also if they were a legal aid lawyer.....they may not be allowed to continue if they feel the chances of appeal is weak.

Do you have any work experience? What part of Canada are you in? Move to Atlantic Canada and apply for AIPP. It's probably the easiest and fastest way to get PR, you will have to secure employment first though.
Visit NB and NL immigration website and get the list of designated employers and contact all of them to see if they will hire you!
Good luck and keep your head up! Things will get better.
Does refugee claimants qualify for that?

We know nothing about your case. You should be speaking to your lawyer about your potential options and what has a chance at success.
