There are a number of different steps to passing a bill. So just because it passes one stage doesn't mean it will pass the next. The process can also take years. Just want to set your expectations on how this works.

Also, this bill, if passed, doesn't actually introduce a guaranteed basic income. All it would do is create a national framework / policy for GBI. Each province would then take time to review that policy and how to implement. So if the bill is approved, there is no immediate impact at all.
So it’s not 2k monthly ?

The bill does not introduce a 2k monthly payment. All it does is put in a national framework on GBI which province will then review.

Where did you get that number? And this would be under provincial jurisdiction so they would determine amounts if it even passes and is implemented which is years away. Ontario had a basic income pilot program, which was cancelled and the monthly cheque for a single person was $1300 per month.

Absolutely I agree this country needs change Ofc but I don’t think conservatives able to do that
Exactly, but they've made several promises to make changes, so pressure will be high on them to deliver those changes. So this Country Needs Conservative in power, and I will be very happy to vote for my local Conservative MP for the first time, If they dont call early election.
