That's true in most cases, lawyers cannot make the process faster. But it's the responsibility of the lawyer to follow up and make sure that all relevant/required documents are submitted on your part.

this is last communication between IRB and lawyer.lawyer send me this irb letting stating
"Subject: Disclosure of documents prior to the proceeding for ******** "
The following documents are being disclosed to you prior to the proceeding in this matter:
• Copy of record (151 pages)
You must provide a copy of all documents you intend to use at the hearing to the RPD and to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration or the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, if a Minister is participating in the hearing. The copy provided to the RPD must be accompanied by a written statement indicating how and when a copy was provided to the Minister. The copy of documents must be received no later than 10 days before the hearing, or 5 days before the hearing if it is in response to another document provided by a party or the RPD. The documents provided must be in compliance with RPD Rules and practice notices. Unless otherwise directed by the RPD, originals of the documents must be provided at the beginning of the proceedings. Sincerely.

So my question is that what should expect after this,we receive it in January 2025 is everything normal or we are missing something
My timeline is
Claim submitted in April 2024
Work permit received may 2024
Background check completed aug 2024.
This letter received in January 2025

Does "phone recording" considered as evidence in refugee claims? If so, then should I submit the original file or only the transcript of the recording translated into "English or french"?
