Hi members,
I have one question. My hearing was yesterday and it was approved.
My BOC is only for me and my minor son.
My husband is in another country, holding work permit.
Can I include my husband in my PR application?
Or Me and my son apply PR first and apply form my husband after we get PR??
Which option will be faster processing time?

Here is my timeline:
BOC submitted: 5th July 2023
Medicals: 7th July 2023
Biometrics and notice of seizure: 24th August 2023
Eligibility interview/AOC/Confirmation of referral: 5th Sep 2023
Work permit issued on: 26th Sep 2023
Received hearing letter on: 30th Nov 2023
Regular Hearing on: 18th March 2024 and approved :)

You are required to include your spouse in your PR application whether accompanying or not accompanying. You and your son will have your PRs processed and once your PRs have been approved IRCC will start processing his PR application. You have been very lucky and have had an extremely fast asylum processing time. Securing PR will be a longer process. It will likely take around 2 years for you and your son to secure PR and then many months for your spouse to secure PR.

Congratulations sister.
You must include your husband in the PR application. Don't worry. Hopefully you will all get the PR soon. Even if this will take time, at least you have gone a big way. Have patience and trust God.
You never know what good things the future will bring.
Best of luck.

Cap is on temporary foreign workers. Work permit people who come on wp, lmia workpermit, or student post graduate work permit. Couldn't find any cap on refugees. Please share where you found the asylum seeker cap ?

Quick question
I have a hearing scheduled in 6 months time (which I find weird)
My counsel has withdrawn because I can no longer afford his services and not eligible for legal aid at this time
Any tips of people anyone who had hearing without a lawyer,
Thanks

Check this thread backwards https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/refugee-asylum-claimants-2023-timeline.793802/page-28.

There are people. If the case is complex then a lawyers help is advised. Atleast consulting if not the whole representation. I too need some info please; can you share the timeline from BOC application onwards just to get a sense of where things are at these days in terms of processing. thanks.
