You would need to be in Canada to apply for asylum unless you can find a group in Canada willing to privately sponsor you. It is difficult to find a group to sponsor you if you don’t have family or friends in Canada trying to sponsor you or trying to find people to sponsor you. Have you looked to see if you qualify for any economic pathways? How old are you? What is your work and education history?

I am 37 years old. I work in the field of marble and ceramics. My educational attainment is high school. I speak English well. I am married with two children.

Getting a TRV will be extremely difficult and if you did apply you should only apply for yourself which could mean years of separation with the rest of your family. If you could find an employer in Canada who can’t find any workers in Canada who could sponsor you that would be an option but given the high interest rates a lot or construction work is on hold. I think you may mean you work with marble, stone and tiles and install them. If the construction industry picks up then there may be an opportunity. You would need to send emails to employers and see if you can find one willing to go through the time and expense to try and hire someone who doesn’t live in Canada. There is a new program for refugees that you should look into. There are many people who contact organizations trying to find sponsors so most have family or friends who advocate for them in Canada.
