Hi Everyone,
I am sitting at 430 points with Canadian Master degree and a canadian job (NO LMIA). So, I will be preparing my IELTS exam to improve my CRS points from 430 to up.
In the meanwhile, i started working on reference letters. My question is:
I have worked in 4 different companies so far.
Company A: July 2013 to October 2013. (Salary paid in cash)
Company B: Nov 13 - Oct -14 (Cash)
Company C: Oct 14- June 15. (Cash)
Company D: June 15 - Aug-16 (paid through bank).

1. For A,B,C i can't provide pay slips. Only reference letter + experience letter, is that enough ? For D, i will check, and may be able to provide salary slips as well. Please provide your suggestion on it !

2. I am a civil engineer, my NOC is 2131 - Class A. I got Canadian study visa back in Aug-2016 and since then i am here and completed master degree. At time of visa application i have provided CIC with my experience letters of company A,B,C. I will provide the same now as well for PR. But those letters have different designation and different roles & responsibility comparing to NOC 2131 - Civil engineer. Now, In reference letters (which i will try to get now) i will match the responsibilities as per NOC 2131 for each company (A,B,C). Is it ok ?
Do i need to provide LOE stating why my roles & responsibilities are different than experience letters ?
Other thing, my designation are also different. Can i change the designation now in reference letter than what it was in experience letter?
What matters the most, responsibilities or Designation or both? in order to get your experience recognized.

3. At the time of PR application (sometime in future), although i will not be claiming any points for my canadian job (as it is non-LMIA), But still i need to mention, that i am working etc.

Your valuable suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks,

As far as I have read, you do need to provide pay slips for every bit of work experience that counts towards your CRS.

In reference letters (which i will try to get now) i will match the responsibilities as per NOC 2131 for each company (A,B,C). Is it ok ?

Responsibilities matter the most. They have to be as close to the NOC you mention in your form. You can use the following format for your employment letter:

Date: _____

To Whom it May Concern

This is to certify that Mr. ____ (Name) is currently employed with __ (Company Name) in ___ (Location, Country).

Details of his employment are given below:
• Designation:

@everbliss : Thanks for your reply.
1. Salary is paid in cash - I cant provide pay slips for that experience (A,B,C). Only reference letters confirming all the details, as you pasted above. For my last employer, Company D, i will get the pay slips as well.
2. I understand the format of reference letter. And thanks for your suggestion to get the reference letters matching to NOC res. My other question which you missed is: I received Canadian study visa and at then i provided experience letters. Now, when i had a look on my NOC, i found that many of my job titles are not matching with the NOC. I need to amend those in my reference letters and get it signed from my previous employers. Would that be creating any problem? I mean the change of titles ? Further, titles should match 100% with your titles given in NOC. For responsibilities i know the rule is atleast 60-70% should match.

Sorry for being exhaustive. However, i would like to clarify above.

Best wishes,
