Reference letters for Self employment foreign experience

Hello, I am applying under CEC, need help with reference letters for self employment. I have a proprietorship and worked for 4 years. I read that I have to get reference letters from client mentioning my services to them.
do they have to mention hours too as I worked for really long with a few.

For CEC class, self-employed experience is not qualified. You have to be under an employer-employee relationship. And it can’t be foreign experience. You need to have the T4 slip. Taxes, EI, CPP should be deducted.

Oh not for CEC. This is for my foreign work experience. At home country i worked as a self employed !
