Hello,

i would really appreciate if someone could provide me some guidance regarding role in reference letter. i worked for my previous employer from 2009 to 2016. i joined the organisation as a consultant and left the company as IT Manager. However, the reference letter that i have managed to get from the company states that the role i last held with the organisation was that of a manager and lists the responsibilities of the manager role.
My question is:
1. Should i put the entire tenure from 2009 to 2016 as IT manager as i do not have any other role on reference letter
2. Or should i break the work history as per the various roles held and attach a LOE stating that as per company policy reference letter lists only the last role held by employee?

Please note, that i was handling managerial activities from 2010. So, only for one year i was a consultant.

Would really appreciate your inputs !

Thanks.

Hi all,
I have salary slips that are more than3 years old. The problem is that the stamps in them have become light. Will ir affect my profile in any way?

Thank you for your reply.
one more thing to ask, as I mentioned in the reference letter salary is paid by cash, I don't need to give any pay slip rite? as you might be aware how clinics works in India, they don't give any pay slips and all. in addition the salary paid is well within the tax exempt, so no tax return form.
in this case what we may need in addition? or only reference letter is enough?

So whats the status now ?? Did they ask for additional documents
