Reference Letter

I have one query regarding reference letter. I know that reference letter should have role, responsibilties and duties for canada work experience.

I have been working in Canada for last 14 months so I can have these details in reference letter for Canada experience. Before coming to Canada, I was working for same company in India too for last 9 years. So do I need duties and responsibilities in that letter too as we need to submit reference for last 3 years.
Seniors please advise.

Not necessary, the reference letter should contain information about the work experience in Canada in the last 3 years.

Boss,
You need to mention all details while working in canada only.CEC has nothing to do with work done abroad .Ur experince will count when u worked in canada only(Minimum 1 YR and max. 3 yrs).So just mention candian 1 yr experience and that is sufficient.

I was in a similar situation as you. I had my HR mention that I have been working for this company from XX/XX/XXXX date and I was deputed to Canada effective XX/XX/XXXX. I had my HR then mention the roles and responsibilities related to my canadian work. This way it covers all details. I hope this helps!
