Reference letter vs experience letter

Greetings!

My question is, do we have to submit reference letter ON TOP OF an experience letter? Shouldn’t an experience letter be sufficient?

Also, is it fine if the reference letter and experience letter are issued by the SAME person?

The reason behind this problem is that only one person in my company has access to the official letterhead.

Thanks for taking the time to read this :)

It doesn't matter what you call it. It has to be a letter that fulfills IRCC's requirements.

It should be on the company's letterhead, full-time mentioning number of hours, position, start and end date, duties and responsibilities- which should be consistent with those in the chosen NOC, mostly but not necessarily 100%.

Thanks EE456!

I can get an experience letter made in the prescribed format. My question was that do I need reference letters in addition to that experience letter?

No problem. No, no need. Only a letter with the aforementioned info and you should be good.

But I read at several places that we shouldn’t forget to attach reference letters while submitting documents. So they all meant to say the work experience letter?
