Reference Letter Query

Hi All,

Need your help guys...

If I can't get the reference letter mentioning my Jobs and Responsibilities on a Letter Head from HR, What's the other option I have ?
Can I get it from Colleague ? But in that case also, Letter head wont be available.

Only 3 options you have.

1. Get it from HR - the best source to prove your employment.
2. Get it from your immediate supervisor - It will certainly work.
3. Get it from your friends- It will work however try to collect it from 3-4 friends from the same company.

for points 2 & 3, Do I still need to get it on Letter Head ?
for point 3, if I get it from 3-4 friends, then, Can all the responsibilities be same on all 3-4 reference letters?

for points 2 & 3, Do I still need to get it on Letter Head ? : Yes otherwise it will not work -- > I read somewhere on these forums that It can be provided on a notarized stamp paper. Wont that work ?
Because as my previous companies are not providing the letters, so there is no chance that I would even get the Letter Head.
