Reference letter, need phone number to be updated

I submitted my application last week, 4/25 and should be arrive sydney by tomorrow 4/28.

The person who gave me a reference letter suddenly changed his phone number so I need to update his phone number asap!

But i haven't received AOR yet.

Should i wait file number?
or can I resend the updated reference letter with explanation letter would work??

I just worried if application will get refused because his phone number is not available...

Any advice?! Plz help me!

You should wait until AOR before sending any updates.

It's likely that they will never call your employer, and they will certainly not do it until the eligibility stage, which is months away.

Wait till u receive the AOR file number and then send them the reference letter.
Also send another letter attached explaining the reason for the updated reference letter.

Any advice?! Plz help me!

thank you for advice!
I just called CIC call centre and she said just email to sydney about what you want to update even I don't have a file number, UCI should be enough.
I know call centre agent is not professional so maybe I should wait and resend the new one as soon as I received AOR..

so worried about this.. :-[ :-[

That is not a problem; I also had to do that. CIC will add it to you file as soon as the email is received. The gcms notes that were sent to me proved that. They did not even end up calling so it was unnecessary.

Do you mean did you email updated reference letter before you receive AOR?
or you did it after AOR and is was added in your file?
