Hello guys,
I think that the most crucial part of FSW documentation is to provide sufficient evidence of your experience, showing that you have worked for at least one year whether it has been on a full-time or a continous part-time basis.
However, while I was skimming through this forum, I ran into several cases that were rejected either by CIC or by VO on the grounds that the examining officer was not convinced by the reference letter provided by the applicant!
Let's suppose that your employer is very cooperative and easy-going, and that he accepted to provide you with a reference letter including all the required information (by CIC) which is: your job title, duties & responsibilities, duration, number of hours worked per week, and payment information..........
and he allowed you to write any reference letter on their behalf, What is the best approach for doing this?
Someone may suggest looking at NOC job description, then rewriting most of the job duties while keeping the lead statement unchanged. Anyway, other may say that paraphrasing NOC job description in reference letters will be too risky, as CIC officers may consider it as self-serving, conny evidence of your experience!
On the other hand, failing to show that you have performed most of the duties in NOC job description may lead to rejection of your application!
I think we should exchange opinions regarding this vital topic. In this way all potential fsw applicants will be better informed about what to provide when it comes to their expeience letter.
I look forward to hearing your inputs asap.
Best regards
