Form the Document checklist pdf from the application package in the CIC web site, I found the requirements for reference letters require letters must include total annual salary instead of monthly salary. The problem is here we usually use monthly salary. I am not sure it is ok if the reference letter provide the monthly salary? or I have to ask all my past employers to provide the annual one in the letters.
In addition to the reference letter, it also seem that other documents such as work contract or pay slip are optional according to the check list. Is this the right understanding? because it reads "additional supporting documents may include" instead of "must include" in the check list.
