Again another question.

I currently work in Canada however my direct boss is located in the US. Will this be an issue ? or should I get a letter from HR Canada? I know for my temporary workpermit (which was done through a lawyer of the company), The HR manager of Canada wrote the reference letter and signed it.

Thank you - yet again.

If HR can do this then you are good to go. Make sure they mention all the relevant information in the letter.
Now you can do your homework and get your application ready.

Get a letter from HR Canada if possible.
