Reference Letter and T4

I'm planning on applying for my PR under CEC. I am currently working as a full-time contractor with a bank through a placement agency.

Would there be a problem if my current boss (bank) completes the reference letter while the T4 are issued by the placement agency?

To be safe, I would get letters from both.
