Yes done already starting from 1 March 2019 20% reduction in total quota. Things are getting tough here now
Does this reduction apply only to new CSQ applications or will it also affect new landing immigrants who received CSQs fro previous years?

Any new csq application from 1 March 2019 will be in reduced quota
Dear immstu
Is the quota for arrima or for early applicants also include to this quota.. Bcoz we applied for 2016..n that's for 2017/18 quota.. Will they reduce from us too..this is like playing with flame..:(:(:(:(:(

What I heard is that it applies to all new and existing applicants for any stream who haven't got csq. Hope this helps

This reduction or implementation will start from next intake of year 2019.
IMHO it will not affect people who already have CSQ , as also those who have already applied .

Will apply to those who haven't received csq yet. Time of application doesn't matter

They are going to invite more French speaking applicants, they are planing to conduct some immigration programs in France, that means priority is fir French speakers

They have been conducting these programs for many years now. Nothing new in that. The focus of new government besides 20% reduction is French immersion. Quebec is going to be the toughest province for immigration. Locals here are also in huge favour of new government. It's xenophobia to the fullest
