We are 3 students sharing an apartment which cost 300$ each including hydro, internet and laundry.
Bus pass 66$ per month (student ).
For grocery numbeo is almost near to everything, it cost each of us near 100$ per month.
Cellphone 25-60$ depends on ur plan.
Misc 100-125$ ( mcd, coffee, haircut, subway etc)
Gym is free on campus.
So, In my case its 500-600$ per month.

Hello Nancy,
Bring summer clothes with you.. temp stays in-between 20-30 degrees.
But you can buy clothes here easily, winter clothes are much expensive. According to what i observed till now.. summer clothes are not that much expensive here.
Bring Utensils. That's the most important thing.

Cheers

Hi! I got accepted at RRC for Jan. 2014. I already received my medical request and will have it done this Oct. 30. Do you think it is safe for me to assume that I'm going to get my visa soon if I did not have any problem with my medical result?

Does anybody here know any room for rent? I don't have family in Winnipeg. I'll probably be arriving in Winnipeg late Dec. 2013 or 1st week of January 2014.

Thanks in advanced for any info.

You can stay here in downtown.. just 5-10 mins walk from Exchange district campus. rent for bachelors around $500.. where 3 people can easily live.. or 1 bhk around $650-700 with 3-4 people easily live.
Or Lodge is best option for few days.. thn you can rent an apartment.

Cheers

hello everyone, I've paid the gic money on the 6th November this year and then sent the scanned copy of bank swift page to them on 'newaccount@scotiabank.com" and it's been 15 date today and I haven't heard anything from them yet. I have to apply for visa ASAP. Please could anyone help me what to do now?

The mail they sent in my secured inbox is deleted automatically after 30 days so I couldn't send a message from there as there's no option of composing messege.

Thank you.

Have you called scotia-bank?
