m new to this forum but have been reading the posts for a long tym now...
I would lyk to know if i can join BIT diploma at Red River college..
I am already a graduate in Computer Sciences(B.Tech)..
My final motto is to get a PR and settle dere..
I wud be thankful if some senior member puts lyt on my questions and guide me..

hi,
after b.tech you can apply advanced diploma.....don't apply in simple diploma its risky........you might be refusal by study mismatch.......where you from....?

I am from India...
I am actually looking for a 2 year course so that i can apply for a 3 year work permit.
If not this,then what are the other options i can look in for...????

Hello Hiten,

Check out the provincial nomination programs for PR which allow international students with masters and phd to get PR quite easily. There is a nice one in Ontario and you can always go for a two years masters in any province. The bottom line is: Choose a post-grad diploma or an advanced diploma or a master's degree. Do not go for a bachelor's diploma.

I am opting for applied accounting certificate but the thing is as Aman said, I am already in Canada so I can basically choose any program because I will get the study permit anyways..The problem is the visa and for that you need to choose the course carefully. The bottom line is, If you are 12th pass, go for any business diploma or something that does not have very harsh prerequisites unless you fulfill all those requirements and if you are done with your bachelors, go for a post-grad diploma or an advanced diploma as they call it.
