Hi Guys, I'm really interested to get graduate studies in Canada and have been looking for some options. However, I'm confused about what would be the best option for me and hope you can provide some help.

Here is my profile:

Country: Peru
Degree: Bachelor in Industrial Engineering (5 years)
GPA: B 73-76% 3.00
Toefl IBT score: 83
Experience: 6 years as Manager in a Spinning Plant + 2 years in manufacturing

I've already submitted my application for the Engineering Management Master in the University of Ottawa. Nevertheless, I believe that my Toefl score is too low to apply for admittance in other universities with the same type of program.

I have also found some colleges that offer graduate certificates related to manufacturing, like Conestoga and Sheridan.

What should I do?. Get a better Toefl score and persist in getting admitted in a Master program?, or get a Graduate Certificate first and then apply to a Master.

My plan is to get a Master degree and maybe get a PR in Canada (near Ontario preferable)

Thank you in advance
